THE BIRTH OF TERMICOR
The year of the pandemic
Daniel Rosselló has more than 20 years of experience in the pest control sector, but until he decided to create his own company, providing his professionalism and knowledge to others.
In 2020 he decided to take the plunge and launched TERMICOR, just weeks before the pandemic. He obtains the certification to apply disinfection treatments for COVID and although, as for most, they were not easy months, TERMICOR follows its course and does not stop growing until today, when there are already four people who form the great team that they are today.
SHALL WE TALK?
Termicor was born from the dream of one person, Daniel Rosselló (Dani, for friends and for you… because yes, that person is me).
You know, sometimes life brings you unexpected situations but, at the same time, many times it gives you the answers.
Since I was a child I like “bugs”. I still remember the afternoons with friends competing to see who could catch the strangest insect (by the way, I have a very good anecdote about the day I ran into a snake… if you want I’ll tell it to you when we meet and we’ll laugh for a while).
So I was not surprised to end up in the pest control industry.
I always wanted to be able to work freely, applying the methodology and products I believe in and trust… but that is not possible when you work under the criteria of others.
As I told you before, sometimes life gives you the answers.
I decided to start my own business when the most powerful companies in the sector began to come to me to ask me to do their wood treatments or to take the xylophagous department directly to them.
That made me open my eyes and realize that I was one of the most trained and specialized people in Mallorca. Then it became clear to me, it was time to fulfill my dream by taking care of the smallest detail.
For example, in our logo, nothing is by chance:

The symbol: simulates the galleries dug by termites in wood.

Our colors: the orange that reflects the passion and enthusiasm with which we work and the brown of the earth where the subterranean termites live.
As a curiosity, I will tell you that the name Termicor comes from the combination of my two favorite treatments: TERMItas and woodworm (CORc in Majorcan).
And finally, I’ll tell you what I do when I’m not working?
My family comes first. My wife and I have been together for more than half a lifetime and we have 2 children (Marc and Pau). Whenever we can we escape with our motorhome.
I love the world of 3D printing and I do my dabbling when I have time.
I have a passion for termites. I have a termite mound at home and I study their reproduction, the woods they like the most, how they behave in different conditions, etc.
